I recently designed and decorated my very own amazing retreat of an office for the One Room Challenge™ Spring 2018.  I still pinch myself every time I go in there because seriously friends, the photos don’t do it justice.  I wanted to create a room that truly reflected me, and so I pulled out all of the stops and went for it.  The result was an office design with deep saturated teal and emerald green painted walls, one with an art deco stencil, and the opposite 2 walls wrapped with a giant DeHeem floral wallpaper mural.  I decorated it with lots of bling, gold, mirrors, Asian accents and vintage rattan etagere.  You can view my entire design process starting with week 1 HERE.

Whenever I design a room, I often get the questions “Where did you get this” or “where can I get that?”, so for your convenience I thought I would share resources of where you can get all or most of the items in my dark & moody office and even more exciting I am sharing both my final mood board and my original with the green sofa so you have Choices!!   Speaking of choices, you will notice that I gave you a couple of options on the yellow chairs and the white etagere.  They are different price points and it gives you the chance to personalize.

Also, if you notice that some of the items are different than what is in my room, it is because the items in my room are either one of a kind or vintage.  With these mood boards, you have the ease of buying the whole room and be done in a couple of weeks, or you can take your time, use these boards as inspiration and thrift your little heart out until you find unique items that work.

The green sofa option is great for spaces where you have more room.   It is a sofa sleeper so it’s great when you want a bed for guests.  This mood board easily could be turned in to a living room just by adding a coffee table and using the desk as a sofa table!

Most of the items in this office design can be shipped anywhere in the US, and some can ship internationally.  Happy shopping and be sure to head over to Facebook to share photos of your own space inspired by this one!

Don’t forget that if you ever need guidance or support I am available to help you no matter where you are in the world via video chat.  You can book a coaching call HERE.
